Website development
Fast, findable sites that turn visitors into real enquiries.
A website earns its cost in exactly one way: someone who did not know you finds it, understands what you do within a few seconds, trusts you enough to act, and can act without friction. Everything else on the page is decoration.
So we build for those four things — found, understood, trusted, contacted. In practice that means fast pages, honest copy, real photographs where we have them, and a way to start a conversation that takes one tap on a phone.
Most of the sites we build are used far more on phones than on laptops, often on mobile data. That single fact shapes almost every technical decision we make.
This is for you if
- —People search for you and find a social page, a competitor, or nothing at all.
- —Your current site is slow, dated, or was never finished.
- —Your catalogue lives on social media, where posts scroll away after a day.
- —You are spending money on ads that land on a page nobody acts on.
- —You need a credible home to point parents, members or buyers towards.
How the work runs
PHASE 01
Positioning and structure
Who is the visitor, what do they need to know, and what should they do next. We decide the page structure from that, rather than starting from a template and filling it.
You get: A page map and the one action each page is designed to produce.
PHASE 02
Content and assets
You provide the raw material — services, programmes, photos, logo. We structure and write it properly. We never invent facts, credentials, results or testimonials about your organisation.
You get: Final copy for each page and a prepared, compressed image set.
PHASE 03
Design and build
Built mobile-first, then widened for tablet and desktop. Every image is sized for phones, because a page that takes six seconds to appear has already lost most of its visitors.
You get: A working site on a preview link you can share and comment on.
PHASE 04
Search foundations
Unique titles and descriptions per page, clean URLs, a sitemap, structured data where it applies, and Search Console connected so you can see what people search before they land.
You get: A site search engines can read, with indexing submitted.
PHASE 05
Launch and handover
Domain configured, site tested on real devices, analytics running, and you shown how to change the things that change often.
You get: A live site on your own domain, with accounts in your name.

Timelines
A focused business or organisation site is usually a matter of weeks. The pace is set almost entirely by how quickly content, photographs and feedback arrive — the build itself is rarely the bottleneck.
What it costs
Our Professional Digital Presence Setup covers a complete standard build at a fixed price, which suits most schools, churches, businesses and professionals.
Anything beyond that scope — e-commerce, portals, booking platforms, custom integrations — is quoted separately in writing before it is built.
Domain registrar fees are passed on at cost and confirmed with you before purchase.

Questions we get asked
Why not just use social media?
Use both, for different jobs. Social media is distribution — it reaches people today and disappears tomorrow. A website is the permanent shopfront that someone can find in search next month and that you control entirely. Businesses that rely only on social media are renting their entire storefront from a platform that can change its rules overnight.
How fast will I rank on Google?
Nobody honest gives you a date. We build the foundations that make ranking possible — fast pages, clean structure, unique metadata, a sitemap, indexing submitted. Ranking then depends on competition and on publishing useful content over time. Anyone promising page one by a specific week is guessing.
Do I have to write the content myself?
You provide the raw material: what you do, your services or programmes, photos, logo. We structure and write it. What we will not do is invent facts about your organisation, because that is exactly what gets found out later.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Anything that changes often — prices, products, posts — is built to be editable by you, and we walk you through it at handover. Structural changes come back to us.
Do you handle the domain?
Yes, setup and configuration are included. Where a domain must be bought or renewed, the registrar fee is at cost and confirmed with you first. The domain is registered to you.
Will it work properly on phones?
Yes. Every build is designed for phones first and tested across phones, tablets and desktop before launch.
What if I need a shop or a booking system later?
That is normal and the sites are built to extend. It is scoped and quoted as separate work rather than smuggled into a fixed-price package.
